The third round of the Italian and European series of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli has just ended at the Hockenheim circuit in Germany. This weekend over forty F430 cars entered in the Ferrari one-make championship took to the track in spectacular races with plenty of overtaking.
The Italian series of the Trofeo Pirelli is at its third event of this Championship and, in Race 1, victory went to Andrea Belluzzi (Motor Modena) ahead of Stefano Gai (Rossocorsa) and Lorenzo Casè (Motor Piacenza). In the second leg, first across the line was Stefano Gai (Rossocorsa) followed home by Riccardo Ragazzi (Ineco MP) and Andrea Belluzzi (Motor Modena) in second and third places respectively.
Of the gentleman drivers competing in the Coppa Shell, Andrea Rizzoli (Motor Piacenza) took the win ahead of Sergio Rota (Motor Piacenza) and Tommaso Rocca (Rossocorsa), while first to see the chequered flag in Race 2 was Massimo Mantovani (Motor Malucelli) with Vincenzo Sauto (Ineco MP) second and Flavio Pierleoni (Motor Malucelli) third.

There was a red flag on the first lap of Race 1 of the European series, because of an accident involving several cars and the race director then called for a restart. Victory in Race 2 went to Philip Baron, who had already won at this German track back in 2007. The Austrian from the Baron Service team crossed the line ahead of Max Blancardi (Motor Malucelli) and Alexey Vasiliev (Ferrari Moscow). In Race 2, Max Blancardi took the win, beating Bjorn Grossmann (Autohaus Gohm) and Alexey Vasiliev (Ferrari Moscow).
In the Race 1 for the Coppa Shell competitors, Dirk Adamsky (Autohaus Saggio) came out on top, crossing the line ahead of Fons Scheltema (Kessel) and Marco Galassi (Motor Malucelli) while in Race 2, Frank Gelf (Eberlein Kessel) took the win ahead of Wido Roessler (Baron Service) and Aleksander Skryabin (Ferrari Moscow).
