Turkish GP - Waiting for qualifying

Sebastian Vettel was quickest in the Red Bull in the final free practice session for the Turkish Grand Prix in a time of 1.27.086. In the Saturday morning session for the seventh round of the Formula 1 World Championship at the Istanbul Speed Park circuit, the German driver finished ahead of fellow countryman Nico Rosberg in the Mercedes (1.27.359) with Lewis Hamilton third in the McLaren (1.27.396.) Both Ferrari men did two runs on the same set of hard tyres, before switching to the softer compound for a final one, during a session where Felipe Massa got caught up in traffic and Fernando Alonso made a mistake on his last run which cost him some time. Apart from these minor inconveniences, the general outlook was positive from behind the wheel of the F10s: Fernando was sixth fastest, completing 18 laps, the best in a time of 1.27.861, while his team-mate ended up ninth, after 20 laps with a best of 1.27.969.
The engines fire up again at 14.00 local time, for the qualifying session which will decide the grid order for tomorrow’s race.
