Monaco GP - A fourth place and a great fight back

The sixth round of the F1 World Championship has just ended on the Monaco street circuit, with the F10s of Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro finishing in fourth and seventh places. At the end of race packed with accidents which are traditionally a part of this Grand Prix, leading to several appearances from the Safety Car, Felipe Massa finished where he started, in fourth place, just behind the podium finishers, the two Red Bulls of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel and Robert Kubica’s Renault. In the other Ferrari, Fernando finished seventh. He missed qualifying because of the accident in Free Practice 3 and so had to start from pit lane. The Spaniard staged a fantastic climb up the order, managing to make up no less than eighteen places right up to the final lap, when he was overtaken by Michael Schumacher in the Mercedes, a move currently being looked into by the Stewards.
The Maranello team takes great satisfaction from the performance of both its drivers, who now head to the next round in Istanbul in a fortnight’s time.
