599 GTO preview. Montezemolo: good drivers, happy for Briatore, Todt's wise decision

“I’m glad for Briatore. Jean Todt made a wise and appropriate decision,” Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo said during the 599 GTO world preview last night at Modena’s Military Academy regarding the recent reversal of Flavio Briatore’s ban. Regarding Formula 1 Montezemolo added: “I’m expecting a positive feedback from the Shanghai GP, confirming our reliability and the competitiveness of our single-seaters.”
He also showed appreciation for the two Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro drivers: “I’m very happy about Felipe’s position and especially about his full recovery after his accident last year. I’m very satisfied with Alonso, with everything he does on and off the track and with his great concentration. I hope very much that Ferrari will be ahead again and competitive on Sunday, although it will be a fierce fight.”
