A truly unpredictable result for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro come the end of the Malaysian Grand Prix, which was dominated by Red Bull, who finished first and second with Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, while Nico Rosberg came home third for Mercedes.

Both Ferrari men immediately moved up the order from their grid positions down in the pack: Felipe finished seventh, thus taking the lead in the Drivers' classification, while Fernando Alonso, while making one of several attempts to pass Button, had to retire when the engine failed on the final lap. Ferrari leaves Malaysia still first in the Constructors' championship and will now prepare for the next round, the fourth in the series, the Chinese Grand Prix, which takes place at the Shanghai circuit on 18th April.
