At the end of the first race in the Italian division for the main category of the Trofeo Pirelli, the Motor/Piacenza drivers Giorgio Sernagiotto and Lorenzo Casé gained first and second place respectively, ahead of Stefano Gai (Rossocorsa). Gai boasted in the second race, crossing the line first, ahead of Andrea Belluzzi (Motor/Modena) from San Marino and Riccardo Ragazzi (Ineco/MP).
