Second day of testing for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro and ten other teams, at the Catalunya Circuit, near Barcelona.
Once again today, Fernando Alonso was at the wheel. The Spanish driver’s programme consisted of set-up testing and an assessment of new aerodynamic components, as well as a race simulation, which was completed successfully. At the end of the day, Fernando covered a total of 133 laps, the quickest in a time of 1.20.637.
Testing at this circuit continues tomorrow, when Felipe Massa will take over driving duties for the last two days.
