Intense morning for Alonso in Montmelò

It was an intense morning for Fernando Alonso, working, together with ten colleagues and as many teams, at the Circuit de Catalunya on the second of four days of the fourth and last test session before the start of the 2010 F1 Championship.
The Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro driver already completed 60 laps on the Spanish track, with the best performance during today's first part: 1.20.637 was the fastest lap time so far in this session. Satisfaction for the thousands of spectators here in Montmelò - while yesterday there were around 15,000, today there will be even more, considering the nice weather and the traffic jams to reach the track in the morning. The second fastest time was driven by the other Spaniard, Pedro De La Rosa, with the Sauber with Ferrari engine, in a time of 1.20.973.
Today's programme includes a race simulation by Alonso: there's still lots of work to do during his last day on the track before this season's first GP in Bahrain.
