Finally some sun

Finally a little bit of sun came out between the rain clouds, which have been circling over the track of Montmelò since the early morning. Rossi’s start was delayed by a modification of the driver seat’s position and a couple of spins at the start of the first day of testing for the MotoGP Champion on board of a F2008, brought to the track by Maranello’s F1 Clienti department’s staff. Rossi was incredibly excited to get back behind the wheel of a red single-seater from Maranello after his last experience in Mugello in November 2008. Due to a heavy thunderstorm at night the Catalan circuit was wet in the morning, but the driver from Tavullia managed to adapt to the car and the track conditions, different for motorbikes and F1 single-seaters, almost immediately. The test session will proceed until the late afternoon.
