Ferrari Racing Days at Valencia

The next weekend this season’s seventh round of the Ferrari Racing Days will be held at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo circuit, where the F430s participating in the European Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy will get on the track, as well as the 14 single-seaters coordinated by Maranello’s F1 Clienti department and six FXX, the extraordinary laboratory cars from the programme with the same name and their client-test drivers.
Ahead of the race in Spain the Austrian Philipp Baron (Baron Service) leads the standings in the European series with 157 points, followed by Frenchman Nicolas Misslin (Stradale Automobile) with just one points less and the Italian Max Blancardi (Motor/Malucelli) with 154 points; Frenchmen Jean-Marc Bachelier and Yannick Mallegol (172 points; Motor/Piacenza Team) lead the standings amongst the Gentleman Drivers in the Shell Cup, followed by the Hungarian Tibor Valint (Warm Up) with 155 points and the Swede Magnus Frodig (Formula Automobile) with 126. The race will offer the participants the opportunity to get used to the track where the World Finals – the traditional conclusion of the motorsport season - will be held in November.
The event will start on Friday, 25 September, with a recognition lap of the historical single-seaters; on Saturday the free practice sessions and the qualifyings will be held, followed by the races and the events without timekeeping on Sunday.
